 Enjoy ZIPPING along our 1600 ft. Zipline at Shady Beach Campground on the Elk River in Missouri!
Imagine climbing up our zip tower, 40 feet the air, launching off the top deck and then zipping 800 2 and crossing over the Elk River! For the return trip the zippers make their way up the 6 stories of stairs (60 ft.) to the top deck. Take a moment to enjoy the beautiful scenic view of the surrounding area. Now you are standing at the top and hooked up to the Zip Line cable. Just step off of the platform and enjoy the zip home. The return zip is our fastest and highest zip! The Zip Line is open 7 days a week from 10am to 8pm.

Shady Beach is situated on the beautiful, clear Elk River with grassy, shaded camping and 1/4 mile beachfront accessible for camping, swimming, fishing or just relaxing. If you are wanting a place to sit back, relax and take in the view, then Shady Beach is where you want to be!
Our tenting area is perfect for anyone wishing to experience nature first hand. Besides grassy, shaded camping, you wake to cool morning air with the Elk River just steps away!
Our RV section has 23 marked sites that have water and electric (30 amp/50 amp) hookups. This area also has a lot of trees for shade.
Our camping cabins accommodate 6 people with 3 full size beds.
We offer canoes, kayaks and 4-6-8 & 12 person rafts to accommodate everyone's needs. Our kayaks are top mount with a place for a medium size cooler and are easy to maneuver and comfortable to ride on. Our 6 man rafts are ideal for groups and families. We suggest 4-5 adults with coolers and accessories per raft for the most comfortable and enjoyable float.
